A new design by Cross Axle Engineering for the Land Rover Defender, these raised air intake vents on the fender tops. The right hand side Cross Axle Engineering vent allows more air through the engine bay to cool the engine and space around the gearbox tunnel during long trips or on 4x4 courses for a cooler cabin. The left vent allows more air through the Land Rover Defender air-con/coolers for a more efficient output of the air-con in the cabin. The vents are made locally by Cross Axle Engineering from strong steel and powder coated to withstand the weight of overlanders and campers who stand on the fenders when packing the roof.
