The Cross Axle Engineering Land Rover Defender Steel Bash Plates are powder coated 6mm steel plates designed and manufactured locally. The design allows for plates to be changed if they are damaged, or re-powder coated if scratched. These under-body steering protectors use 8mm heavy duty steel brackets which are connected to the bash plate and to the Land Rover's chassis to give a FEA (strength simulated) product suitable for heavy off-road use. No drilling or grinding is required to the vehicle, these bash plates fit using the existing Land Rover Defender chassis holes!
 
The plates can be swapped for 8mm Aluminium plates reduce weight.
